Outdoor Learning @ The JHF Orchard
The JHF Orchard is a positive and inspiring outdoor classroom for one-to-one mentoring and tutoring sessions. It is based in Clevedon and was built lovingly by our team and community volunteers. If you would like to volunteer at The Orchard please get in touch hello@thejhf.org.
We have launched Project Growth @ The JHF Orchard, a series of fully funded life skill workshops that are themed across each academic term.
Each workshop is lovingly designed and delivered by people with lived experience and qualifications in the relevant field.
This charitable project has been designed to support our mentees in all aspects of health and wellbeing.
Project Growth @ The JHF Orchard follows the below themes
- Personal Growth- life skills & mindful living
- Active Lifestyle- fitness & nutrition
- Environmental Action- sustainability, beach cleans & gardening
- Forest and Survival Skills- resilience building
- Community Engagement & Creative Showcase
A National Award for The JHF Orchard
The accolade is in recognition of our unique outdoor learning space The JHF Orchard. The judges said “A really delightful, simple solution which had far-reaching, positive impact on individual beneficiaries and the community. Excellent effort from a small charity.”
