Lianne - Tutor

My background is as a Secondary School English teacher. As well as my classroom responsibilities, I was involved  in a variety of extracurricular activities, allowing students opportunities to learn and develop outside of the classroom. I took a break from teaching to look after my young children, but always knew I wanted to return to a role supporting young people. 

The best thing about working with young people is seeing them develop confidence and resilience as they build their skills. The tailored support offered by the JHF is unique to each individual and I’m excited to be involved with something, which puts the young people and how we can best support them at the heart of everything we do.

I love exploring new places, reading, sport and quizzes. I took up running a couple of years ago and I’m currently training for my first half marathon.
