SEND bespoke packages
Here at the JHF we do not believe that one size fits all. Every human being is different and yet often, particularly during childhood, people are expected to conform and behave in the same way.
How it works
We are very committed to a fully bespoke approach which empowers young people to find the right pathway for them. We work closely with parents, schools, and other education providers to ensure our work complements EHCP’s and other support plans.
Each SEND package is bespoke, but will include some or all of the following:
- Addressing specific individual needs and working with parents and other agencies to provide bespoke experiences for young people with SEND
- Wishes and feelings work to identify a person’s wants and needs
- Clear target driven support around behaviours/emotions/learning/ relationships
- Specialist tutoring to enable progress whilst waiting for school placements
- Brick based therapy, either in small groups/1:1 or alongside a mentor by our fully trained Lego Therapist
- Use of social stories
