Mentor

About me

I live in Clevedon with my husband and two young sons. Having grown up in Clevedon I didn’t appreciate the beauty of our coastal town, that was until my husband moved here and I now love exploring all it has to offer!

I have a varied background in working with children and young people; from schools and nurseries to being a family nanny. I am now excited to see where my journey as a Mentor takes me!

Why Team JHF

Living in Clevedon I was aware of the JHF and the positive impact they have had on the local area. I started to look into what opportunities there were after having my second child and realised that their vision and values aligned with my own. Right from the word go JHF has been an amazing team to be a part of, full of passionate and inspiring individuals. My goal as a Mentor is to empower children and young people to realise and achieve their potential. I hope to learn and grow alongside my Mentees, making a difference within our community.

Things I love

I LOVE being crafty, sewing, drawing & painting I have always got something on the go! This is reflected in my work as a Mentor and always have a big bag of tricks at the ready.

Reading is another passion of mine; my favourite book is The Island by Victoria Hislop. Being outdoors in nature is one of my favourite ways to spend a day, whether that is a quiet walk on my own or with my family building dens and exploring.
