About me
I’m a huge wildlife lover and studied zoology at university, so living in Uganda for seven years was pretty amazing. One of the absolute highlights was seeing mountain gorillas in the wild. It’s hard to put into words how special that was. Being that close to such incredible animals is a memory I will treasure.
When I’m not working, I’m usually with my best friend, Pops, my dachshund, who was actually born in Uganda! He’s full of personality and keeps me on my toes. He’s definitely a big part of my world.
Why team JHF?
I originally trained and worked as a teacher and I’ve always loved helping young people build confidence in their learning. After a few years in the classroom, I moved to Uganda where I lived and worked for seven years; an experience that I will never forget. I’m now really excited to be tutoring with JHF and bringing all of those experiences into the work I do with students.
Things I love
I was born on the Isle of Wight and love going back to visit my family, especially if it involves a walk by the beach. Some of my family are Italian, so we head over there to see them too. They’re all brilliant skiers… I’m still very much learning and spend a lot of time falling over, but I give it a good go!
