About me
Before JHF I worked as an LSA with a range of children aged 3 to 11. I worked in an independent school for 12 years, that I part owned with my best friend for the last 5 before we very sadly had to close due to numbers.
The last year working there was working 1:1 with a young person who had not been in school for various reasons. They came to us via the JHF, so I was thrilled when a mentoring opportunity came up with the JHF.
Why team JHF
When the opportunity arose and as I already knew about the JHF, their ethos and the impact they have on so many young people, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
Being able to support young people and give them opportunities they might not otherwise have has been so rewarding. No 2 days are the same with all the activities; from Uno to Pool or a walk in the woods.
Things I love
I am a big fan of Women’s Rugby and Football and go to as many matches as possible with my partner, friends and family. I was lucky enough to go to the Women’s Rugby World Cup final and see England lift the trophy.
I love to read and enjoy a varied selection of books from fiction to autobiographies.
My partner and I are very big Lego fans and have lots of sets that we enjoy building so much so that I had to buy a new shelving unit for it all to fit on!!!
