About me

I grew up in Weston-super-Mare and have a background in healthcare administration. I’ve always felt passionate about supporting children, and becoming a mum and step-mum has only strengthened that passion and desire to help young people thrive.

Why team JHF

JHF’s values strongly align with my own. I believe the school system needs updating to become more individualised and inclusive for all children. I’m passionate about supporting youth mental health, building confidence, and helping children recognise their own abilities and achievements. I believe every child should have equal access to education and the opportunity to feel a sense of achievement. I’m also keen to invest in children because they are our future.

Things I love

I love spending time with all the children in my family, including my nephews and niece. Family is incredibly important to me, and I’m especially close to my gran, much like the close bond Jack Hazeldine shared with his grandson. I enjoy music, arts and crafts, and spending time outdoors in the fresh air. I also like keeping up to date with current affairs and regularly listen to podcasts and audiobooks. Most importantly, I love anything cute and cuddly — especially my cats and my little dog, Percy.
