Mentor
About me
I’ve been a soldier in the parachute regiment, a firefighter and have worked in the International live music sector as a Tour Manager.
Why Team JHF
It’s a very different world for young people than the place of relative certainty which I enjoyed: and so, supporting them to thrive and become the version of themselves they want to be means something. The impact that mentoring has on a young person’s life can be truly transformative. And THAT means something. In my experience it is incredible what putting even a little positive energy out there can change! It’s all about catching someone doing something right, and then affirming that action, as often as possible.
Things I love
I like to keep active – mostly through cold water swimming which although is very good for me isn’t much fun in winter! I once swam in the Zambeze River. It wasn’t particularly cold and there were crocodiles – I won’t be doing it again! I love The Arts in all forms Music, Theatre and reading.
