Emma - Mentor

About me

My background is in education. I trained hard to become an HLTA after raising my children and then spending time in many different roles within the school sector. I left the sector last year after realising I wanted to spend more time with my now grown-up children and my five grandchildren.

Why team JHF?

The JHF foundation was something that really shouted to me. I was touched by the background of how it was created and how far it has come. I believe that building positive relationships and having positive social interactions can help children and young people shine. To me the JHF foundation does just that.

Things I love

I love to be with my family and friends- a good get together, game of rounder’s or camping. I love being creative, art and painting, as well as woodwork, wood burning, and decorating cakes that my husband has baked!
