About me

My background is in the police force, where I enjoyed various roles and finished up on the Mounted Section, being lucky to have had the opportunity of working with some fantastic horses (and people!) along the way. A role I found most rewarding was working in the Community Affairs department where, with other agencies, I was able to engage with vulnerable young adults and children.

I also volunteered at my son’s primary school throughout the years he was there, which I really enjoyed.

Why team JHF?

I love the ethos of the JHF and the way it was founded. I never had enough time to do what I would like to have done to help others in my previous role. However, I have had the opportunity of working alongside charities and agencies who were passionate in their role of helping children gain confidence and reach goals. I now have the opportunity to do the same through the JHF.

I am looking forward to starting my new role, working with young people, and meeting the rest of the team.

Things I love

My passion is for horses and horse riding. However, I love watching most sport, and trying to play (I am a member of the local ladies cricket team)! I also enjoy watching and following the football premier league alongside my son.

I love being outdoors, walking my dog and keeping fit. However, I also love spending time at home with my family, reading and attempting to cook!
